Gods Covenants

For the last week we have been learning about Gods covenants witch is basically gods promises.  We had to making a slide show of Moses , Abraham and noha and what they did to get gods promise. Here is Samuel and my slideshow.( Comment what Moses is better:)

Symmetry art

 W.A.L.T Create Symmetrical art.

In maths we have been learning about geometry particularly symmetry. Today we made symmetry art and I made a cat one  it was a little hard for me because I like drawing small and we had to draw big. We did it by having two coloured peaces of paper then we folded  one in half and drawed our character then cutted half of the character out and stuck the half of your character on the other peace of paper and the other side of the peace of paper the your done.( I explained it a bit complicatedly but when you see the photo you will under stand how we did it.)

I think my sculpture is good but I think I could do better on like the symmetry and doing the design.I like the colours though and the lumps in the middle.

My Ducks Donut Trip

Today we had a duck and had to make a place for it to be going to then we had to write a story of it here is my story.

Ducks and Doughnuts!

Once a upon a time there was a duck called doughy he loved donuts but his mum never let him get them because she thought they were bad for you. Today Doughy was finally aloud to get a doughnut he was so existed he hadn't had a doughnut in ages. They finally got to the doughnut shop because they live so away it took ages, all of Dough's friends ask him why he lives so far away from the doughnut shop when he loves them. He always says in a grumpy voice its because my mum thinks there bad for you and I love them so I live so far away so I don´t have to smell them getting made because then ill want them. Doughy and his mum walks into the doughnut shop they say together it smells so good and there was no line. Doughy and his mum chose the they wanted and left. Doughy got a cookie and cream one and his mum got a plane one with jam in the middle. They sat in the car and ate there doughnut and said to geather THAT WAS GOOD!

 Littering has been a problem for a while in fact it started in the 1950s when people started to litter. You'd think after finding out animals die from rubbish  they would stop but nope people still litter this very day. So people would say that litter is not too positive but when you look at all the bad stuff it does to this world it is really just terrible.

So you might know that littering is plastic, but litter is not just plastic from chip wrapping it also is food waste, so banana peels  and apple cors things like that.

More than anything litter comes from food waste.Eight million metric ton of litter ends up in the sea each day from littering. Did you know littering can affect plants and the air because after rubbish has been sitting in the sun for a while it actually burns and turns into ashes then mixes with the air.If we had no litter lying around this world would be much better but if we do nothing this world is just going to get worse.

So you're probably wondering How do the city council stop littering and will people stop.Well people often litter because there is no bin around or they are too lazy to put their rubbish in the bin. So the council has decided to put more bins around but people still litter. So now people are trying to recycle and reuse their rubbish when they can't see a bin.They can reuse some things like plastic bags from your chips.You could put something else in it for your next lunch or recycle old boxes and cans.

In conclusion, Littering is really bad and does not help our environment. Remember littering is  terribly bad for animals,plants,air and our world. So one thing you can do to help our environment today  is to not  litter and to pick up every piece of rubbish you see.And with that piece of rubbish recycle or reuse.

A Question From The Year 5 Revision

These two weeks we have been practising for a test. The test is called Year Five Revision the qestions were pretty easy for me but one of the hard ones was this bead one. This is the question.

There is 100 beads  all together on this abacus how many is covered?

I think the answer is  76  and I worked it out by counting the beads that showed then I how much until it reached 100? Comment what you think the answer is.
