Symmetry art

 W.A.L.T Create Symmetrical art.

In maths we have been learning about geometry particularly symmetry. Today we made symmetry art and I made a cat one  it was a little hard for me because I like drawing small and we had to draw big. We did it by having two coloured peaces of paper then we folded  one in half and drawed our character then cutted half of the character out and stuck the half of your character on the other peace of paper and the other side of the peace of paper the your done.( I explained it a bit complicatedly but when you see the photo you will under stand how we did it.)

I think my sculpture is good but I think I could do better on like the symmetry and doing the design.I like the colours though and the lumps in the middle.

A Question From The Year 5 Revision

 W.A.L.T Find a question you got stuck on.

These two weeks we have been practising for a test. The test is called Year Five Revision the qestions were pretty easy for me but one of the hard ones was this bead one. This is the question.

There is 100 beads  all together on this abacus how many is covered?

I think the answer is  76  and I worked it out by counting the beads that showed then I how much until it reached 100? Comment what you think the answer is.

A Strategy I Have Learnt This Week!

 A strategy I have learnt this week is the when you do time tables you just cont on.Say it was  3 times 4 you just go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12.
