My First Haiku Poem

 WALT Write a haiku poem. It is a poem based on syllables and follows a pattern of 5-7-5.

My report on guinea pigs!!

 Guinea pigs are pets and they are cute little fluffy creatures. 

They no longer live in the wild. That means if you go for a walk at the park you won't see a Guinea pig. Guinea pigs can be brown,white and black they are very friendly and cute.

Another name for a Guinea pig is called a cavy. Guinea pigs live in small families  Guinea pigs are herbivores so they eat plants, grass, vegetables and fruit.

There cute animals lick people when they are happy and they sniff the air!! Guinea pigs live until they are 7-9 years old. Their teeth are constantly growing so it's important for them to chew to wear them down.  

I love guinea pigs they are great pets but not when they eat your grass. I love guinea pigs. 

My shool trip

 On Friday the 6th of November 2020 Room 4 went on a field trip to the museum, library and Margaret Mahy. We went with Room 1.

In the morning, we went over some rules and hopped on the bus. We had to wait for room 1 to get on. It was rainy and cold and it warmed up a little bit.

The bus dropped us off at Margaret Mahy. We ate morning tea and got in our groups. I was with Sophie's Mum Londyn,Indi,Sophie and Charlie. I went on the silver slide, giant green slide, spider web and  trampolines. 

After we played, we walked to the library. When we got there we did a lego challenge. It was so hard! We had to build a native bird in 2 minutes!! I didn't even get started  because I couldn't make my mind up. Then I played on the playground. Unfortunately, we all got kicked off the playground because the boys were being too loud. So I played in the dress up room. l dressed up really silly. Afterwards, Eva and I cleaned up the dress up room because it was really messy. 

The librarian gave me this hell pizza circle thing and we helped her clean up. Then we had to leave to go and have lunch at the botanic gardens. We had to walk to the museum, it was so far. We ate lunch at the botanic gardens and had a play.

When we played in the trees we saw a sick owl it was so cool. Then we went to the museum. We met this guy there and he showed us games from the olden days. I was one of the volunteers. We got to see the tvs they had in the olden days. After that we caught the bus home.

A day in a life if a Rabbit

 WALT: write in first person

I just woke up and the sun was rising it was a beautiful sunrise.

I sat on the grass and watched the sunrise  it was amazing, then I  heard the rooster so i knew it was time for breakfast. I ate vegetables and fruit which was yum. Now  I am going to practise my jumping I love jumping I can jump up to  90 centimetres. After a while I get tired so I go home and have a sleep. When  I have finished my nap my teeth are getting sore so I am going to chew on some grass. Okay I'm done, it is lunch time  so i am going to have lunch.  For lunch I ate apples and carrots. After lunch I go and perform my  twists and kicks in mid air at the park every  rabbit there loves my twists and kicks in mid air. When I got back I ate dinner and went to sleep  to restart my day all again.

Duffy Day at NBC

  I am a fairy

I chose a fairy because I had all the stuff at home so I didn´t have to go out and  by stuff for my costume. I am excited about today because we get Duffy books and don't have to where our uniforms.

Writing

 Once there was a girl called Amelia. She had purple, pink and blue hair and she also has blue eyes that sparkle like the ocean on a sunny day. Amelia was 15  She did not want to go to school. Lucky for her school was canceled because it was  a teacher only day. So Amelia did not have to go to school. Amelia's parents  HAD to go to work so she had to stay  home by herself. She was sooooooooooooooooo excited because she has never stayed home by herself before. Her parents left to go to work.  Amelia just sat on the couch and watched  tiktok  on her phone for a while but then  she got bored so she……  

Destroyed the house. She is 15 she should know better but I guess not.  First she ripped up the most expensive  pillows, cracked the windows with a hammer and then rubbed all her slime into the carpet! 

Then she just patted the cat and didn't even care that the house was destroyed. She got a text from her parents and it said ´I am on my way home. I will be home in about  half an hour´. She was worried because the house was a mess and she only had half an hour  to clean it up. She got to work straight away.

She sewed up the pillows, taped up the windows and scraped the slime off the carpet. The slime was still a little bit wet and slimy so it was quite easy to scrape off. Then  the door wiggled. She wondered what it was. It was just mum and dad opening the door. When they got inside they asked Amelia ´How was it Amelia?´ Said ´great, I would love to stay home by myself again.´ Her parents said sure  but it's time to go to bed. She replied ´okay´ and hopped into bed.

 Once Upon a Time there was a grizzly bear named Bingo. He was a little bear, he was only six. 

His parents died two years ago. He lives in a dark cave but it is always clean and neat. He has fluffy fur and is a light blue color. He has one friend who is basically his cousin. Her name is Kelfish. She is a bear to she is soft not fluffy and she is a light pink color. Bingo has one fish called Rarry and two dogs, one called Charlie and the other one called  Chopper. Bingos pets are like his family to him because they care and listen. Bingo wants to go to school but he can't because  no one can sign him up because you have to be 11 or older to sign people up for school and he is only six. He has heard great stories about school.  But one day something happened. There  was an earthquake and all he had in the fridge was cake because he didn't have any money to buy some more food. The cake fell on the floor. He had no food now. After the earthquake Rarry came to see if he was ok. He said no, he has no food and he thinks he's broken his leg. she said I'd Take you to the hospital I've got money. He said ok thank you I would do anything. 10 minutes later we are here now we just need to get you inside we could use this trolley you can fit here we  go the doctor said you got a broken leg it will be better in  two weeks . two weeks later I can finally get out of this chair  and can walk but my home is screwed up. Where can I live? You can live with me and you can bring rarry!!! Said kally   I've got plenty of room and food  And they all lived happily ever after!!!!!!!!

introdution

I strongly believe that we  should be able to play with slime on the carpet. It's not fair because slime is only $5 or less and every week I get $5. It makes me angry when the slime I get doesn't stick to the carpet and I still have to play with it on the lineno or outside. Slime is fun but sometimes I like to watch tv when i play with it. 

FirstlyI strongly believe that we should be able to play with slime on the carpet because it doesn't stick to the carpet. In fact, I have actually tested it.

Secondly, I  definitely think we should be able to play with slime on the carpet . because slime is $5 or less so i can get so many slimes and I can only play with it on the lino.

LastlyI still think we should be able to play with slime on the carpet. Because slime is fun and I like to watch tv when I play with it.

In conclusion I think we should be able to play with slime on the carpet because I am very careful with slime.

News Argument

I strongly believe  that we should be able to talk when the news is on. 

Firstly its not fair because our parents get to  watch the news when it is our no tv day.

Secondly the news is rubbish its just being nosy about the world. Adults  are aloud to talk when ever  they want but kids cant. 

Lastly  I think people can watch the news but we can talk my sister and I have just as important stuff to say and talk about than the news. 

In conclusion i absolutely believe  we should be able  to talk when the news is on.
